Over the past two decades, I have been making art which seeks to challenge our long held understandings of time, space, and matter. With strong focus on ideas surrounding the most nostalgic, curious, and futuristic aspects of the natural world (in particular flowers), I ask the viewer to consider all of the possible timelines and outcomes for my subjects.

I am a firm believer that art can happen anywhere, anytime, and with any materials one has access to. This idea is not only at the root of my personal creative process, but also a message that I integrate into my teaching practice.

I am a 1996 graduate of Bennington College and received my MFA in 2005 from The School of Visual Arts, where I focused on the study of painting, drawing, and collage. I moved to Rhode Island in 2008, and currently work out of an antique and vintage paper filled studio in Providence’s Olneyville neighborhood. In 2025 I had the good fortune to show my work with the Dryden Gallery in Providence, RI, The Affordable Art Fair Boston (represented by PxP Contemporary), and lead classes, workshops, & artist talks at Squam Art Workshops (Holderness, New Hampshire), Photo Trouvé Magazine (online), and Erase Studio & Gallery (Providence, RI). In early 2026, my studio was be featured in Where Women Create magazine, alongside an essay I wrote about being a “late bloomer” in the art world.
